Rain is Fun!

Rainy days are for movies, laying around the house and eating junk food…..NOT ! :) Lets go outside and have some fun!!

“WHY!? I don’t want to get wet!”

Many of us have dogs that HATE to go out in the rain (especially to go potty!). Taking them out for short periods and rewarding then or playing with their favorite toy, can make a HUGE difference ! Starting this at a young age is even better.

Keep your dog engaged with you the entire time so they don’t even notice the rain. Bring out super high value treats and toys to really get their attention. Consider adding longer duration to your rainy day fun and soon your pup won’t even acknowledge it! Some pups may be harder to get excited/aroused with toys or treats in the rain…this means YOU have to get excited too! Move around a bit and praise the heck out of your best friend! Have fun!!!!
