What Canine Fitness is NOT!

Hi friends! I always get people that come to me asking if I can diagnose their dog or do rehab on their dog. Yes, I am certified in rehabilitation for pets BUT I have to do that under supervision at the animal hospital that I work at. If I come to evaluate your dog or massage them and notice an issue, we will discuss it and I will ALWAYS recommend to see your veterinarian.

What Canine Fitness is NOT:

🐾 Your canine fitness coach is NOT meant to diagnose any problems with your pet and they are not allowed to treat an injury. (Unless a veterinary professional has cleared them to do so.)
🐾 Canine fitness is NOT a substitute for rehabilitation.
🐾 Canine fitness is NOT a substitute for veterinary care.
🐾 A canine fitness instructor is NOT going to throw your dog on equipment without having you understand the basics.
🐾 Your canine fitness coach will NOT make a “body builder” out of your pet. Bulky muscles don’t perform well and can cause injury. Each breed, gender, age and size of a dog will vary!

Hopefully this helps people better understand if they have ever been confused about this! 😁
